About Green Dot

Green Dot watches what people are searching right now and publishes short English briefings while that attention is still forming. The goal is a useful first read — sports, television, world news, technology — not a copy of another outlet.

The live radar reads public search-trend feeds. When a query spikes, the newsroom writes a briefing that answers the query in the opening lines, then adds context and takeaways. Each story also shows the window — how many hours of concentrated search are likely left — nearby queries this briefing has not answered, how the same query heats in four English-speaking places, and the gap between what people type and the headline we wrote. Readers can leave one line: “I typed this because.” When the window closes, the briefing moves to the cooled archive.

We do not give medical, legal, or financial advice. Automated drafts can miss nuance; treat them as a first pass on a moving topic.
